Welcome to my little ol’ bakery. We are a traditional sourdough bakery in Paso Robles Ca. Processing yummy goodness in small batches the “old fashioned” way. Using a sourdough starter that is very healthy and thriving, named Dough-Rita. I’d love to teach you about sourdough and its natural health benefits and get you enjoying yummy sourdough bread again.

I started my sourdough adventure after going gluten free 4years ago. I struggled with GF bread in grocery stores with the taste and price. I started to try to make my own bread for my family. After some success and a ton of failures I stumbled across a video about sourdough and how it helps break down the gluten strands. Making it easier to digest for gluten intolerant/sensitive people. The natural SLOW fermented yeast is what gives it that complex flavor. My ears perked up and I was very curious. So, then the roller coaster began, and Dough-Rita was born after 4 months of trial and error. I baked my first few loaves of sourdough and sold my first loaf to a dear friend. She told me I hit a gold mine. She is also GF, so I wanted her to try it and see how her body reacted to it. Needless to say the whirlwind set off.

Gifting food and feeding my family and friends has always been my love language. My little black heart is so happy knowing I get to now also spread that love into my community. Helping them love bread again.
